Privacy policy

Nothing you type, because there is nothing here to type into.

There are no forms, no newsletter sign-up, no accounts and no comments. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number or payment details anywhere on this website, and we have no way to receive them through it.

This site sets no cookies of its own. It runs no analytics, no advertising pixels, no session recording and no visitor fingerprinting, and it stores nothing in your browser.

The one exception is the Google Maps panel described below, which is a Google product embedded in our page and may set its own cookies.

Like almost every website, the server that delivers these pages keeps standard technical logs: the requesting IP address, the page requested, the time, and the browser’s user-agent string. These are generated automatically by the hosting provider, used only to keep the site running and secure, and are not combined with anything else or used to build a profile of you.

Each property page embeds a Google Maps panel showing the town the home is in. That panel loads directly from Google, which means Google receives your IP address and basic browser information, and may set its own cookies, whenever such a page loads. This happens under Google’s privacy policy rather than ours, and we receive none of that data.

The map shows the town, not the address of any home. Exact addresses are shared through Airbnb after a booking is confirmed.

Every booking, message and question goes through Airbnb. This site carries no phone number and no enquiry form. Every “Book” button on it is an ordinary link out to the relevant listing. Nothing is loaded from Airbnb while you browse here, and we do not pass any information about you to Airbnb when you follow one.

Once you arrive on Airbnb, your enquiry, booking, payment, messages with us and review are all handled by Airbnb on their platform, under their privacy policy and their terms. We see only what Airbnb chooses to show us as the host of the listing: typically your name, your booking dates, your messages and, after your stay, your review.

The photography here is our own, taken at the homes and served from this website rather than from Airbnb. The guest reviews shown are reproduced from our Airbnb listings with the reviewer’s first name as it appears publicly there. If you have reviewed one of our homes and would rather not appear on this site, email us and we will remove it.

Typefaces, images and scripts are all served from this website itself. Nothing is fetched from a font network, a CDN or a third-party asset host as you browse, so no other company learns about your visit, apart from Google through the map panel above.

This site is aimed at adults booking somewhere to stay. It is not directed at children, and since it collects nothing, it collects nothing from children either.

Because we hold no personal information gathered through this site, there is nothing here for us to show you, correct or delete. If you want to know what we hold about you as a guest, or you want it removed, that information lives in your Airbnb account and in our host account with Airbnb. Ask Airbnb, or write to us and we will help.

You can block the Google Maps panel with your browser’s privacy settings or an extension; the rest of the page will still work.

If this site ever starts collecting anything, such as an enquiry form, a newsletter or analytics, this page will be updated to say so before that goes live, and the date at the top will change.
